Healthy, nutritious, delicious and energising. A daily serving of fresh juice is full of vitamins, nutrients and minerals.


There are no added sugar, syrups or preservatives, only pure fruit and vegetables and a selection of superfoods.

We have programmes designed for 3 days, 5 days and 7 days. Have just 2 juices a day to replace some meals or 5 juices a day for a real detox.

Drink our fresh and delicious juices in place of your regular meals and you’ll soon see the benefits. Juices are full of nutrients and you can choose a flexible programme to fit your lifestyle.

All our fruits and vegetables are sourced locally and we try to buy organic whenever possible. The juices are made up of all kinds of ‘good for you’ ingredients, including spinach and kale, ginger and beetroot, and carrots and apples. There are also superfoods added to some juices such as spirulina and wheatgrass, & psyllium husk.

If you would are interested in doing the juice detox for 7 days then here is some information on what the programme entails?

The program is very simple. It consists of drinking 5 juices a day at regular intervals.


We prepare all the juices here at The Book Cafe and you can pick them up in the morning.

 If you want to have a drink between juices then you can drink green tea, which we will provide. Add lemon for a nicer taste, the lemon will help burn the fat in your body to create more energy. Also drink Natural spring water during the day as water is essential for weight loss and the best way to flush out toxins.

Can I eat During the Juice Detox?

Generally there is no food eaten during your detox, only the juices. However, if you should want to eat something then we suggest you eat something light like watermelon.


 What do the juices contain?

 The juices contain lots of vitamins and minerals.

 Healthy carbohydrates and essential fats.

 Omega 3, 6, 9 oils for healthy skin, hair and bones.

 Spirulina – Good quality Spirulina products contain hundreds of different vitamins, minerals, carotenoids, amino acids, enzymes, all of the essential fatty acids (those that the body can’t produce) and phytonutrients. The product we use is organic and free from any chemicals.

 Wheatgrass (anti diabetic properties, high quality fibre, improved digestive system, regulates the blood, wheat grass can aid in the healing of sores and other wounds. Swelling can be reduced with its use as it has powerful antiseptic properties)

Pro biotics – anti diarrhoea, improves digestive system, strengthens immune system, prevents ear infections, prevents intestinal inflammation


What are the benefits?

There are plenty of benefits from doing a juice detox. Here are just some of them:

How will I feel?

You will probably feel hungry on the first day but as the days go by you’ll tend to feel less and less hungry. The juices are enough to satisfy but it is the habit of eating that is more difficult to cope with. By day 3 or 4 many people have a boost of energy and start to feel full of beans! By day 6 you will be feeling tired – just 1 day to go!
